We are Renier and Juliannys, a passionate team committed to helping you build a stronger, healthier, and more functional life. Renier is a licensed personal trainer certified by Puerto Rico’s DRD, a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer (CF-L2), and a Precision Nutrition Coach. With over a decade of experience as a coach and a lifetime of training, fitness has been at the core of who we are for as long as we can remember.

Our Philosophy
At 4:13 Functional Training, our mission goes beyond aesthetics. Inspired by Philippians 4:13—“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”—we believe that physical training is about stewardship: caring for the one body God has entrusted to us. Strength, resilience, and functionality are at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s improving day-to-day tasks or preparing for life’s challenges, we focus on helping you move better and live healthier.

Parenthood and Fitness
As parents of two young children, we understand how challenging it can be to balance fitness with the demands of family life. Parenthood has shaped our perspective, teaching us the value of adaptability and consistency. It’s not just about staying fit for ourselves—it’s about setting an example for the next generation. We aim to inspire parents to embrace movement as a way to care for themselves and their families, building habits that last a lifetime.

Why We Train
We believe that everyone has a responsibility to move their bodies, no matter their age or background. Muscles that aren’t used deteriorate and lose function, but with consistent effort, we can maintain and even improve our ability to live functional, fulfilling lives. From youth to adulthood, fitness should be a cornerstone of a life well-lived.

One story that continues to inspire our mission is Renier’s experience with a client who, after losing significant mobility in his legs due to an accident, committed to consistent training. Over time, he didn’t just regain his strength—he went on to run again. This transformation reinforced the power of movement and determination.
