Meditative Strength Training (Combat Yoga)

Iron Gump is a mind-body guide who has created a Meditative Strength Training program that he calls combat yoga. Combat yoga is a synergistic practice of his many years of training in traditional martial arts and yoga. The combative aspect of the training is the experience of how one battles themselves during tough times ie during training sessions. Yoga is utilized as a familiar entry point into this in-depth practice that incorporates traditional Chinese martial arts philosophy and strength strategies. 

Gump guides clients into deeper states of relaxation through intentional movement and guided breathwork exercises. 
 He has been a lead for corporate retreats, boutique hotels, small group, and one-on-one experiences for over 20 years in Philadelphia and around the world. His trainings are not just a workout, but they are adopting a new way of life.

Meditative Strength Training is a holistic practice that combines elements from yoga, qigong, kung fu, calisthenics and mobility practices to enhance mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. The practice emphasizes mind, body and breath connectivity.
