Chris Chang
You're Not Broken, Your Approach Is
Chris graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and was a competitive pole vaulter in Track & Field at the collegiate as well as post-collegiate levels. He spent 4 years at General Electric in their leadership development programs and as an engineer. His life-changing experience with overcoming his own chronic pain and lifestyle roadblocks led him to leave his engineering career at GE to turn his passion for helping others in health and fitness into a career. Chris spent years of mentorship under Chiropractor Dr. Paul Salinas collaborating on patient care using PRI and SFMA approaches to help navigate them out of chronic pain.
Chris is the Founder of Chris Chang Fitness, Regional Leader at Animal Flow, Senior Director of Exercise Science and Senior Product Manager at Ergatta. Over the past decade, he has also been a Tier X Coach at Equinox in Manhattan, a Master Instructor for the Equinox Fitness Training Institute (EFTI) world-wide, and an Assistant Coach at StrongFirst Kettlebell certifications.
Chris is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM with over 30 certifications having expertise in biomechanics and behavior change psychology. He has been featured by Health Magazine, Nike, PopSugar Fitness, Under Armour, Naboso Technology, Furthermore Magazine, Equinox, and was on the cover of the May 2017 issue of Runner's World Magazine.
Chris is based in Austin, TX, but helps clients and companies all across the country.
