Presentation Topic: You Belong Here: Welcoming the Intimidated Client
The person who needs fitness the most is the least likely to feel comfortable in the gym. As coaches, one of our biggest challenges is to make inexperienced, deconditioned clients feel welcome and successful.
How can we make the intimidated client feel capable through our initial activity selection and coaching cues?
How can we appropriately dose fitness to clients who are brand new to the gym?
What are the regressions to the regressions?
We’ll explore the cues, positions and movement skills that will set clients up for success with higher level fitness activities. The ability to work with this underserved population will set you apart as a coach, grow your business, and help you make an impact in the lives of people who need your services the most.
